Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has already come and gone. This year seems to have flown by. Now it’s only a few short weeks until Christmas, and of course, a break from school and work! I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Quick update

Sadly, I haven’t been able to update my blog in more than a month. Work and classes have my life bound to a dull, repetitive cycle. I have to ideas for some scenes in Vue that I’ve been working out, hopefully I’ll post some soon.

Another Update

Lately I’ve been working in a programming language called Proce55ing. It’s pretty cool. It’s designed for new media and visualization. Since it’s pretty much Java, proce55ing is very easy to learn, and powerful. Well that’s all I have for this post. I hope to have some new renders up in my next post.

Project

Well, I’m way past my deadline however I have started on a new project I have in mind. Aside from that project I’ve been dabbling around in Rayfire and V-Ray for the first time in a few months and this is what I got after about five minutes worth of work:

I would definitely recommend both plugins and 3DS Max itself.

Gearing up for Winter

Well Fall is approaching that means Winter is not far off! But back to the current time. I have no renders or code to post this week; mainly because I forgot that it has been a week sense my last update. Hopefully I will have plenty to post next week – that is if I can pry myself away from XBox Live. I finally got back on after about 82 days. Things have really changed on there, and I’m not sure I like some of the changes.

Update Fail

I suck at this whole blog/commitment thing. So I think from now on I’m just going to update this blog once a week. Mainly because I have nothing to blog about. My life is slow and exceedingly boring. I had to reformat again, so for the last few days I’ve been setting my system back up. I do have a few ideas for animations in mind – Though that means nothing until I show some work. As far as my Vue renders, I have been working on one, I just can’t seem to get it right though -Either my computer crashes, Vue’s ecosystem crashes or I just loose interest in it. Oh well here’s what I got so far:

Vue Render

I have fixed it up quite a bit (i.e shorted the grass near the camera, and the trees don’t lean as much) but I have yet to render that scene yet. I’ll try to have it next post. I don’t have a link this post. Like I said, I suck at commitment.

Update!

I’m finally getting back around to posting! I miss my dead line by a week or two because of trojans and other computer related problems, but I’m back to posting on a regular basis. I just reformatted and I’ve been setting my system back up. So far I have Vue 7, 3DS Max, and Blender installed for 3D, and Python 2.6 for coding. I plan on posting some projects up soon. Well the weekend is finally here! I’m hoping to have a good weekend even though it’s going to be a little hectic with the move and everything. I really don’t have much to blog about – Today wasn’t to eventful. Anyway, here’s the link of the day.

A Better Day

Well it’s somewhat hard to believe that it’s finally Thursday. This week has been so incredibly long and boring. The only thing I had to look forward to this week was this weekend, and looking forward to the weekend only made the week seem longer. Anyway I guess I should start packing, sense I’m moving in two days — Nah, I have better things to do like program or install 3DS Max! The link of the day would have to be this.
